Levonelle (Emergency Contraceptive)

If you’ve had sex without protection or you are concerned about getting a birth control problem, this area of the site will explain all you need to learn about Levonelle®

Levonelle One Step, (a morning after pill or emergency contraceptive pill) including how quickly you have to take ir and what steps you need to take when ordering from maxpharm.co.uk

If you feel you might need emergency birth control you need to act rapidly - within hrs instead of days.

Levonelle® A Measure continues to be available since 2004 and it is the only morning after pill on the market from the maxpharm.co.uk technician. Levonelle® One Step can be taken up to three days (72 hrs) after unprotected intercourse or perhaps a birth control problem.

What is Levonelle One Step

Levonelle® One Step is also known as 'the morning after pill' but you can take it up to 3 days (72 hours) after a contraception mishap to prevent pregnancy. There is 1 round white tablet in the pack. It contains a hormone called levonorgestrel

The earlier you take Levonelle® One Step the more likely it is to work, so it's important to act quickly, in hours rather than days.

Maxpharm.co.uk, can only supply over 18's, please order the Levonelle One Step by clicking here or from the menu on the right.

Will Levonelle work for me

Levonelle® One Step is more effective the earlier you take it. There is 1 tablet in the pack, which it’s important to take as quickly as possible.

After taking Levonelle® One Step, most women will have a normal period at the time they expect but sometimes, your period might come earlier or later than usual. It can also be lighter or heavier than usual. Or, you could have some 'spotting' until your next period. If your period is more than 5 days late, unusually light or unusually heavy you should contact your healthcare professional.

Levonelle® One Step is not 100% effective and will not prevent pregnancy in every woman.

If Levonelle® One Step fails and you do become pregnant, do not take Levonelle® One Step again. Levonelle® One Step does not work if you are already pregnant. If you need further advice, go to your healthcare professional or family planning clinic as soon as possible
